About Our CEO

Dr. Rafia Mumtaz is a Professor and Associate Dean (for Faculty of Computing) at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), NUST, with over 15 years of experience in R&D. Her expertise includes remote sensing, satellite image processing, and IoT, with broader interests in embedded AI, edge computing, wireless communications, and smart solution development. She has led major applied research initiatives, fostered international collaborations, and contributed to real-world technology integration. Dr. Rafia holds a Ph.D. from the University of Surrey and an MS from NUST, where she received the Endowment Fund Scholarship. She is a Senior IEEE Member with 75+ publications, notable awards, and patents in environmental monitoring.
